Python Job: Innovation Software Developers - New Team

In this role, your goal will be to work on projects intended to help customers manage their IT infrastructure more sustainably with a focus on power usage and consumption, and will suit people with a keen interest in green technology and sustainability.

You will be working in a development team of 5 -6 members, under the guidance of a Lead Developer, to drive the cloud platform's innovation solutions from incubation to deployment. The focus will be on the "research" in R&D and will suit developers who are comfortable working with minimal and changeable design specs. and enjoy the "try and fail quickly" ethos. As such you'll be exposed to lots of bleeding-edge technology and won't be stuck into 4 lines of code for weeks on end!

WHAT WE LOVE TO SEE:

NB. Lots of GO programming but you'll be trained on that if you haven't experienced it before.

• 4+ years of work experience in the software development of cloud-native services.
• Proficient in programming in JAVA, Python, or similar language
• Comfortable in an agile at-scale environment.
• Interest in open-source technologies (even better if you are a contributor)
• Ability to be in the Galway office location as the role cannot be offered fully remote (will be hybrid though)
